You can also send us a copy of your previous application materials and job descriptions for any positions you are considering.

  • Phone Consultation

Clients regularly tell us that our consultation is one of the best parts of working with us.

During your call, we will discuss your career history and future goals in more detail.

We can also add further value by providing elements of interview coaching or career exploration.

  • CV & Cover Letter Writing

We'll tailor your CV and cover letter to best position you for your target roles, highlighting relevant skills and accomplishments.

We can prepare a cover letter tailored to a specific position or a general cover letter that you will be able to customise for each application.

We'll work with you to make sure you're proud of the final products. Your service includes two rounds of revisions and a review call, if needed.

  • LinkedIn Content Writing

We'll prepare all of the written content for your profile including your summary and work experience sections.

We focus on highlighting your achievements and the value you bring to an organisation, differentiating you from similar profiles.

Our writers also leverage LinkedIn SEO principles to keyword optimise your profile.

  • LinkedIn Upload & Coaching

We'll set up an hour-long Zoom screensharing session, which will enable us to upload your content to your new or existing profile.

During the session, we'll optimise your profile to help ensure you appear in recruiter searches and bring it up to LinkedIn's All-Star Status.

We'll also walk you through LinkedIn best practices to help you get the most out of the platform.

  • Takeoff

Once you are happy with your CV and cover letter, we'll send you the final versions in PDF and Word formats.

With your new personal marketing materials in hand and LinkedIn profile ready to go, your job search is ready for takeoff!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What will my documents look like?

Our CV and cover letter designs adhere to the highest professional standards.

We incorporate design elements that will make your document visually inviting, maximise skim-value and draw the reader’s attention to the most important information.

Based on feedback from executive recruiters, we do not produce documents with colours, images or multiple columns.

Such designs are not always compatible with applicant tracking systems (ATS).

  • Do you work with international clients?

Yes! We work with clients from all over the UK and around the world including Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

We’ll conduct your initial consultation over the phone or via a Google Meet call, so we can help no matter where you are physically located.

We also tailor your the content and formatting of your CV and cover letter based on where you intend to apply for jobs.

If you found us from North America, please visit our sister company, Resume Pilots.

  • Will I get to provide input during the writing process?

Of course! Our process is highly personalised, so you will work with your writer one-on-one every step of the way.

Occasionally, we may push back and challenge your recommendations if they do not conform to industry best practices or would not be in your best interest.

However, we will work with you and make requested changes to ensure you are satisfied with your final document.

  • How long will my CV be?

For most of our executive clients, we prepare two-page CVs.

We may recommend a one-page document if you only held a few positions throughout your career or are a more junior candidate.

That said, we never recommend submitting a CV that is over two pages in length.

  • Do I need to submit a cover letter with each application?

A cover letter instantly sets you apart from candidates who did not include one and allows you to provide key supplementary information.

We always recommend sending a cover letter to achieve the three objectives:

    1) Show that you are seriously considering the position

    2) Explain how your previous experience has positioned you to succeed in the target role

    3) Address special circumstances such as career transitions, relocation, employment gaps and visa requirements
